SONAX CutMax – High-Performance Cutting Compound

SONAX CutMax is a highly abrasive polishing compound designed to tackle sanded or heavily weathered paint surfaces. This silicone-free, low-odor formula offers a long working time, minimal dusting, and wipes away more easily than most heavy compounds.

Powerful enough to eliminate 1,000-grit sanding marks on fresh paint, SONAX CutMax still finishes with an impressive gloss level of 3 on a 1–6 scale. It can be used with both rotary and dual-action polishers.

For restoring dull, oxidized, or neglected paint, SONAX CutMax delivers exceptional results—without the harsh solvents often found in similar products. Its virtually odorless formulation makes the correction process more pleasant.

After correcting defects with CutMax, follow up with EX 04-06 or Perfect Finish to achieve a true mirror-like shine.
